Bio

David Araújo was born in Mondim de Basto in 1978. He settled in Porto in 1997, at which time he completed his professional training in Audiovisual Communication and, later, the Degree in Communication Sciences. 

At the Portuguese Institute of Photography, he trained in Portrait and began his work in photography and video, having collaborated since then with various institutions and companies. Since 2000, he has collaborated with RTP (Rádio e Televisão de Portugal) and has been a member of the Directorate of Information, as Reporter Journalist, in 2004.

In parallel to the work in Television, he develops his passion for the photography, that is understood like an extension of the look, allowing him to explore in a different way multiple areas like Society, Arts and Travels. This interest has materialized in several exhibitions, publications and participation in different projects.
